Co-Owner
Generally curious about all things, Andrew is passionate about connecting people with coffee. This tall drink of water, is an Iowa State alum and Ames resident. The only thing he loves more than coffee is his family, although he can be tempted with a well aged bourbon or a soccer match. Andrew is also the owner of Windmill Coffee Roasters - which supplies Burgie’s Coffee & Tea Co. with fresh roasted coffee, sourced all around the world.

Co-OWNER
Jordan grew up working around Burgie’s through his childhood and started working full-time around 2013. Besides coffee, he holds a special place in his heart for the Avocado Smash which he and his wife introduced to the shop. Jordan loves training younger generations in basketball and spending time with his family of 5 (soon to be 6!). His love for espresso craft translates into his appreciation and knowledge of all things whiskey and beer. In his free time Jordan loves to experiment in the kitchen, especially with smoking and grilling meat! Jordan is a friend and confidant to our community, and to his employees. His care for others, and diligence when working in and out of the shop is evident to all who know him!
Favorite Part of Burgie’s: The vibe our team & community bring to our shop everyday. I love having an opportunity to serve a product we’re proud of and being able to interact with our community on a daily basis is a blessing!

Burgie’s North Manager
Jake graudated from Iowa State University in 2010 & has lived in Ames ever since. He has been apart of the Burgie’s team since 2019 as a manager at our Mary Greeley location, where he honed his management skills and craft in coffee. Jake was recently promoted to the new cafe manager at Burgie’s North which opened July 2021. He is passionate about his family, community, and connecting people to their Christ-centered identity! We are blessed to have Jake lead our new team up in North Ames & know you will love connecting with him when you’re in the shop!

South Assistant Manager
Chloe is currently studying Elementary Education with an endorsement in ESL. She loves going on hikes, gardening, cooking for her family, and is an avid reader of classic novels! Many members of our team would describe Chloe as a “work-horse”, and that she is. Since she started, Chloe has become a proficient Barista and a sponge of knowledge. Chloe is incredibly diligent, dependable, and efficient! She loves and cares for others beyond measure, and is always looking for ways to lift others up!
Favorite Part of Burgie’s: I love working at Burgies because I get the privilege of getting to know so many different people with different stories! I love being able to be a bright part in someone's day and connect with them over a shared love and appreciation of coffee.
